It is a sweet and bitter proposition. Sweet because my sweetie awaits in the next location, bitter because there is SO MUCH to see here in Spain. I’m loving speaking Spanish and feeling another culture. But alas…. the show must go on and on in this case the show is Nepal!!

This travel experience has 4 different elements: Hiking in Corsica (which happened in September!) Biking in Spain (which you just experienced with me) Trekking in Nepal and then hanging on the beach in Thailand. 

Nepal! Land of Dal bhat, mountains, yak milk, stupas, prayer flags, monks and more…… I am saying goodbye to the delights of Spain: olives, sangria, flamenco, tapas and siesta. The Sierras and the coast…. solo travel and speaking the language. Spain has been so good to me. This 6 weeks a true soul satisfying adventure. I have been blessed! 

And now to shift my head to a culture I have no experience with, a place of magical tales and the tallest mountians in the world! Where religion is a foundation of the society. A landscape I’ve seen in photos which I am excited to experience in my own skin. I will continue to blog, but I’m uncertain when and where I will have internet.
